Ever since the foundation of the Korean American Association of Greater New York in 1960, the organization has enjoyed a great deal of support from previous members and their contribution to KAAGNY. Today, in its 29th term, KAAGNY continues to make significant progress based on this strong foundation that was established over 45 years ago.
As New Yorkers we are living in the center of the political, economic, cultural, and educational capital of the world. Our united experience represents to the world what the typical Korean-American person experiences in their daily life.
Fortunately, the story of Korean immigrants in the Unites States is an honorable and successful one, givens as a testament to the fact that although Korea is a small country, we as Koreans are capable of competing with the rest of the world in many different fields and arenas.
Nowadays, the definition of our world is that we live in a global community. We understand that the world of today is a diverse one, and our role as a Korean delegation within this community is vital and important.
To achieve this common goal, all of the members of KAAGNY will do our best to serve the Korean community and represent your needs in a way that is respectful, progressive, and committed to improving the well-being of our community.
Thank you. |
