On February 8, Mr. Yong Hwa Ha attended the donation meeting with KRB to support Haitian victims at 1:30 PM and thanked all the helps from Korean communities.
The amount of $ 210,000 gathered to KRB was delivered to UNICEF this afternoon.
Staffs from KRB announced" We are very please to help Haitian from the devastating earthquake. Maybe this is small drops of water but we strongly believe that it merges into the huge river and goes to people in Haiti who need help and care from the world. We do hope their quick recovery from the earthquake."
Mr. Ha appreciated and told that "I deeply am thankful to Korean communties who gave support and help to Haitian people. We have recieved flows and flows of help and support from many Korean organizations. I hope by sending them supplies and fund to reconstruct the broken pieces in Haiti and give them courage and strength."
Especially during this donation meeting, John Liu, the comptroller and Scott Stringer, Manhattan Borough President attended and thanked for all the donations bestowed to KRB.
