On June 12, 49th anniversary of KAAGNY was celebrated with over 150 people in attendance at our 24th Street Manhattan building. Consulate General Kyung Kun Kim also joined the celebration. 1 year away from its 50th anniversary those in attendance were reminded of the important role we must play as we set the direction of KAAGNY for the next 50 years. The festivities were joined by Cho Foundation which gave out their annual scholarship award. The proud parents of the award recipients and happy smiles of the students made the evening that much more special. KAAGNY is very grateful to The Cho Foundation for rewarding students with excellent academic achievements from our community. KAAGNY is very honored to have shared its birthday with such a great cause.
