On Febraury 5 (3:00 PM), representitives from H-Mart visited KAAGNY to make earnest donation of $13,724 to Haiti.
Sang Chul Lee, director of management at H-Mart mentioned, "The amount is not from one person's hand. Our staff members in NY/NJ happily donated about$6,800. It only took about 2 weeks which was very surprising and sincere. We truly belive that KAAGNY can deliver this [$13,724] on the behalf of our H-mart staffs."
Mr. Ha from KAAGNY responded, "I'm very proud and happy to see more Korean communities get involved in such humanitarian events. This will help the destruction in Haiti due to the earthquake. We make sure to deliver this money to United Nation."
