On May 27th 2010, the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) will host the 4th free Law Seminar for the benefit of the Korean American community in New York City.  

 

The upcoming seminar will be conducted by Charles M. Yoon, Esq. of Yoon&Kim LLP, discussing the basics of Commercial Litigation. This seminar is set up with the idea of assisting Korean business owners in the New York and New Jersey area understand the laws related to their businesses.  

 

Having received his JD from Columbia Law School, Charles M. Yoon, Esq. has had over 19 years of experience in the areas of domestic and international litigation and arbitration. Having previously been a partner at law firms Thelen Reid & Priest LLP and Hodgson Russ LLP, Mr. Yoon has been actively involved in the Asian American law community.  As the recent past President of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York(KALAGNY) and the current Co-Chair of the Solo and Small Law Firm Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Mr. Yoon has regularly lectured on litigation and other such legal topics in both national and international conferences. Fluent in both Korean and English, Mr. Yoon is also currently a member of the Board of Directors at KAAGNY.
