We provide a wide range of services that include Social Services programs (free legal and medical consultation), Immigration (workshops and events for newly arrived families with young children), scholarship awards for high school and college graduates and hosting or sponsoring arts and cultural events.

We provide networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and coordinate events to nurture voter registration and political participation. We are also actively involved with the worldwide community by raising funds for disaster relief and always seek opportunities to work with the Korean American community.

Aside from its prime commitment to the constantly growing Korean-American population in New York, KAAGNY is equally committed to serving the broader community of New York City and the nation by being a representative of New York's Korean-American community to the larger world.

KAAGNY has always been playing the role of an active participant, organizer and leader in the American democratic process. Apart from voter registration, KAAGNY conducted Candidates Forum in the weeks preceding the general elections.

KAAGNY conducted successful campaigns that halted the closing of the Korean ESL Program at the East-West International School in Flushing Queens and reprieved the threat of impending deportation order of the ‘Choi Family’ from South Korea in 2009.

In order to better educate and enfranchise the Korean-American community, KAAGNY has been working on voter registration and educational services.

KAAGNY also maintains close working relationship with area police precincts to ensure public safety and a safer environment for our residents. As the Korean-American population continues to shift and expand across the state, KAAGNY seeks to augment and enhance its services to meet the population’s ever-growing needs.
