뉴욕한인회와 The CHO Foundation, Inc.는 뉴욕일원한인사회에서 어려운 환경에서 면학하는 학생과 사회봉사 활동을 하는 개인 또는 단체를 선정하여 장학금과 후원금을 전달합니다.

올해 6월 12일 본회 제 48주년 창립기념식과 함께 첫 장학금이 주어질 학생 및 단체 선정을 위해 장학금신청을 오는 2008년 5월 16일까지 접수하오니 관심있으신 뉴욕 동포 여러분의 많은 참여 바랍니다.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

- Demonstrate Financial need

- Currently is a senior at a U.S. high School or will be entering or currently attending a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking student

- Have demonstrated achievement in the arts, community service, sports or other activities

- Individuals or groups/ organizations which perform community service

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Required for all applicants:

- Application Checklist

- Personal Information

- Essay

- 2 References

- Current official Transcript

- Tuition Statement from current or intended college

Please provide at least one of the following:

- Household Financial Information

- Parent/ Guardian tax return and /or applicant tax return

- Copy of expected Family Contribution (FAFSA result)

Please summit Organization Information for group/organization applicants.
